It is completely possible to change the direction of your life at any given time.
One of the most important parts of transforming your life is figuring out where you want to go and how you want to get there.
Sometimes this process is easy, and sometimes it is difficult. Sometimes you don't even know where to start.
A few helpful questions could be:
What makes me feel happy and alive?
What do I wish I could do more of?
What opportunities and resources are available to me?
Where can I find more opportunities and resources that are available to me?
The Changing Booth offers a variety of opportunities that may inspire you to try something new or go in a different direction.
It is rarely a waste of time being brave and trying something YOU want to try (if it's not apparently bad for you). It is your life, after all.
Once you know where you want to go and what opportunities you will be pursuing, work through the following steps:
Develop a strategic plan, altering habits gradually while learning new skills.
Surround yourself with supportive influences and practice self-care consistently.
Embrace discomfort and change, persisting through setbacks with patience.
Regularly assess progress, adjusting goals as needed.
Start small, maintaining commitment, and seeking guidance if necessary.
Transformation requires patience, persistence, and a willingness to step out of your comfort zones. We are all capable of this - all it takes is action.

There is a reason why you're not doing what you said you were going to do.
Identify it, find a way around it, and then go past it.
The question of 'How to overcome procrastination?' can actually be reframed as 'How do I show up for myself?'
The first step is cultivating self-compassion to understand the 'why' behind your procrastination. We recommend starting with this self-compassion test to assess your current situation.
Once you are aware (and perhaps a bit kinder to yourself), there are several techniques and resources you can use to:
Recognize triggers
Set achievable goals
Break tasks into smaller steps
Manage your time with techniques such as the Pomodoro method
Establishing a clear routine, eliminating distractions, and creating deadlines can help build momentum.
Asking for help from those who can support you and hold you accountable is also key to not feeling alone and disconnected from your goals.

Discovering your purpose involves self-reflection in combination with discovery.
It is near impossible to sit down and map out your passions, strengths and values on a piece of paper without context. So how do you gain context? By doing things.
Do things that bring you joy, fulfillment and a sense of meaning. Don't know where to start? Try one of our activities or things to do.
When you have new experiences, you get a better sense of what you like and dislike, what you want, need, value and crave.
If you are doing something completely new, check in with yourself after some time - perhaps after an hour, a week or a month. Does it feel fun, satisfying, enjoyable or meaningful? If it does, you are probably on the right track. If it doesn't, try something else.
Many times we get defeated when something isn't for us. It's ok to be sad and disappointed for a while, but it's also key to embrace that you now know something about yourself that you didn't know before. Use that self-knowledge and experience to fuel your next endeavor.
The more experiences you have in life, the more dots you have to connect when figuring out your purpose. It might take a long time, but you have your whole life to do it.
DO, FEEL, THINK, ADJUST, and DO AGAIN is the solution.
